Kimchi
“A traditional Korean Recipe given to me recently by a house mate from Korea. I have already tried and tested this one and it has to be one of my favourites. Very healthy, low in fat - but you gotta like it hot.”
1 Chinese cabbage split in half and soaked for a day (rinse water)
2/3 cup hot pepper powder (from Asian shop)
Fish oil (enough to completely moisten hot pepper
½ jar minced garlic (120g) - or fresh
Half the amount of minced ginger (60g) – or fresh
Mix all the above ingredients into bowl with spoon
Then combine together with carotts and onions &1 tsp salt mixed with some water
Place the mixture in between all the cabbage leaves with hands.
3 carrotts – grated
3 onion – sliced
