Class Description

Pilates borrows principles from various Eastern and Western exercise philosophies, Yoga being one of them.
The movements are slow and controlled with a clear purpose behind each movement pattern. As you progress
to level one you will see that the moves are layered with something more challenging to offer. More specifically,
each movement focuses on maintaining a strong trunk and utilising the abdominal muscles as stabilizers.

Pilates Level 1 – Provides a challenging work out of slow controlled moves, revealing layers of variations from
exercises in the beginner’s course, along with completely new movement patterns. Beginners Pilates is a pre-
requisite for this class.
